How do you throw away the starter weapon? I cant sell it and I cant savage it...

There's a trash can next to all your bags. Drag your item you want to throw away over it and let go of your mouse. Orr..

I think you can go outside in a hostile area, and just drop the item by dragging it out the screen.

um, in your invetory when you hit the 'i' button there's a garbage can above your storage spots on the right hand side just toss it in there and it'll say are you sure you wish to permentantly destroy this and you hit Yes. that's how you get rid of that and quest items for quests you never plan to finish, or abandoned.

Another method is - 1. Leave outpost/town
2. Drop item
3. Reenter outpost/town
